The Shooting Institute offers a wide range of handgun courses. Whether you have never held a gun before or if you are an experienced shooter, we have a course for you. Our Basic Handgun Courses focus on safety and proper handgun techniques.
These courses are a starting point for most shooters. Courses cover gun safety, loading & unloading, ammunition, proper gun storage, shooting fundamentals such as grip, sight picture, stance etc.
You will learn how to shoot safely and accurately. Learn how to select a handgun most suited for you & your needs. You will gain the basic knowledge and attitude needed to safely own & operate a handgun.
If you do not own a handgun, we will let you shoot different guns at no cost, you only pay for the ammo. You will shoot live fire at the end of the course and receive a certificate of completion from The Shooting Institute.
